Phoenix Suns
Orlando MagicEverything starts with Orlando's treatment room: Paolo Banchero, Jalen Suggs, Jonathan Isaac, Noah Penda and Izaiyah Nelson are all out, stripping the Magic of their leading scorer, their starting guard and much of their defensive spine. Phoenix carry absences of their own — Mark Williams, Jordan Goodwin and Rasheer Fleming — but a home side with its core intact against visitors missing five men is the clearest matchup edge on tonight's board.
The honest concern is that the market has kept this near a pick'em despite that list, which tells me the price-setters rate Orlando's remaining depth enough to compete. Without Williams, the Suns are thinner in the middle than this matchup demands, and a tight fourth quarter is a live possibility. So I am neither laying points nor leaning on the moneyline.
The cushion does the work. Phoenix win this more often than not on the facts, and taking the points as well covers the scenario where the Magic hang around late. The bet: Phoenix Suns +3.5.
