That compares the bonus with not playing. Staking 3,500 anyway makes it a partial rebate; staking it only to clear the bonus makes it a net cost.

Played to zero, a balance sustains balance ÷ house edge of turnover on average — the break-even identity again (1 ÷ 4% is 25). The last 1,000 comes from your own money; plenty of sessions clear it, but the offer is priced on the average.

A bonus is not free money and nothing here is risk-free: the play attached is expected to cost more than the credit, and no strategy changes that. RTPs and weightings are illustrative — real ones vary by operator and game — and none is a named game's or an operator's.

How to read the terms, in orderNine checks, biggest effect first
  1. 01Your money at risk. A deposit bonus puts your deposit in play; a no-deposit credit does not.
  2. 02What the multiplier multiplies. The bonus alone, or deposit plus bonus. On a matched 100 that is 35 × 100 = 3,500 or 35 × (100 + 100) = 7,000 — an expected cost of 140 or 280 at a 4% edge.
  3. 03Sticky or non-sticky. Non-sticky keeps your money separate and withdrawable; the requirement binds only once it runs out. Sticky merges the two and locks your deposit behind the requirement, and some terms deduct the bonus at withdrawal.
  4. 04Game weighting. For the games you would play. 0% never clears; under 100% multiplies the stake you need.
  5. 05Maximum bet. A breach usually forfeits the bonus and its winnings. Under a 5-unit cap, 3,500 of wagering is at least 700 bets.
  6. 06Maximum cashout. Slot wins come in rare large multiples and a cap removes exactly those. The upside is capped; losing your whole deposit is not.
  7. 07Expiry. 3,500 over 7 days is 500 a day. Unfinished wagering usually forfeits the bonus and its winnings.
  8. 08Exclusions. Games, bet types, payment methods, countries. Payment methods are the easiest to miss.
