Bahia or draw

The team news is where the value sits. Cruzeiro are without seven players: Matheus Pereira, William and Lucas Villalba are suspended, while Luis Sinisterra, Gabriel Pec, Felipe Morais and João Marcelo are injured. That guts their creativity and both flanks. Bahia arrive having beaten São Paulo 3-2, with Kanu back from suspension to anchor the defence.

The risk is that Mineirão is a hard place to visit and Cruzeiro's XI still fields Gerson and Kaio Jorge, who can punish a Bahia defence missing Marco Moreno and goalkeeper Léo Vieira. Even so, the depleted hosts look shorter than the facts justify. The bet: Bahia or draw.
