How a tip settles here
The settlement rules applied to every tip on this site, and the anti-gaming rules member-posted tips run under — each marked with whether it is enforced today.
Platform tracking · Tips settle automatically from a results feed, and FreakBets runs that settlement — nobody independent checks it. Member tips are shown one by one; the VIP record is published in aggregate only.
Six settlement rules
They govern the record today, and will settle a member's tip identically.
- 01
Published before the event starts
Timestamped. A selection posted after kickoff is a report, not a tip.
- 02
The price is frozen at posting
Written once at insert, never editable. A movable price makes every ROI meaningless.
- 03
Settlement comes from the result
The published market wording, applied to the final score. No discretionary review.
- 04
Losses settle exactly like wins
Same rule, same totals. No highlight reel, no separate big-wins feed.
- 05
Nothing is ever deleted
Append-only. A wrong fixture, duplicate, untakeable price or abandoned match is voided with a written reason and excluded from ROI.

What makes the stake-weighted figure possible.
Written in plain language, never overwritten, and shown on the tip — a moderator's void, a tip posted after kick-off, and a stake settlement returned (a draw on draw-no-bet, a postponement) alike.
Worked cases
Where results confuse people most.
- Level after 90'. Backed team wins in extra time. Match-result tip.
- Lost
- Cup tie decided on penalties. Tip was a team to qualify.
- Settles on the tie
- Match abandoned, or postponed and still unplayed 48 hours after the posted kickoff.
- Void
- Kickoff moved more than 48 hours from the one the tip was posted against.
- Void
- Match kicked off earlier than listed, and the tip was published after the real start.
- Void
What each market settles on
Unless a tip says otherwise, football settles on regulation time.
| Market | Settles on | From |
|---|---|---|
| Match result · double chance · draw no bet | 90' + stoppage | Final score |
| Over/under goals · both teams to score | 90' + stoppage | Final score |
| Correct score · handicaps · half-time/full-time | 90' + stoppage | Final score |
| Cards · corners | 90' + stoppage | Match data |
| To qualify · reach the final · win the competition | The full tie, extra time and penalties included | |
| Abandoned, or postponed and unplayed 48h on | Not settled | Void |
Why regulation time, and the one exceptionExtra time and penalties do not count
90 minutes plus stoppage is the standard rule at essentially every bookmaker, so the outcome here matches how the same bet would have settled in a real account.
The exception is markets framed on the tie or the competition: those settle on the full outcome, because that is what the market is about. Anything framed on the match stops at the final whistle of normal time.
The two ROI numbers
There is more than one way to compute a return, and usually only one flatters. We publish both.
Flat-stake ROI
The strict one
One unit per settled tip, whatever was advised — so one lucky big stake cannot rescue it. The fairest way to compare two records.
profit in units ÷ settled tips
Stake-weighted ROI
The lived one
Uses the stake actually advised, so it is what following the tips would have felt like. The headline figure on the VIP page.
profit in units ÷ total units staked
Two settled tips, both numbers
The divergence is the informative part.
| Tip | Stake | Odds | Result | Flat P/L | Weighted P/L |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tip A | 1u | 2.00 | Won | +1.00u | +1.00u |
| Tip B | 3u | 1.80 | Lost | −1.00u | −3.00u |
| 2 settled | 4u staked | — | — | 0.0% | −50.0% |
Which period each figure covers · On the VIP record, both ROI figures cover the current calendar month — that is what its feed reports — and the W–D–L counts are all-time; on the 1st the ROI resets while the settled count keeps climbing. Member records on the leaderboard are lifetime. Every member tip is one unit, so a member's flat and stake-weighted return are the same number.
Why the gap mattersSame two tips, two true headlines
Above, the selections broke even and the staking lost the money. Flat alone headlines 0.0%; stake-weighted alone headlines −50.0%. Both true, neither alone the record.
Neither is in currency — we do not know your stake — and both use the odds recorded at posting, not the best price that later appeared and not the closing price.
The 100-tip sample gate
Under it, the record is labelled an early sample everywhere.
What the gate is not, and what is still planned
It is not hiding the record: the numbers are visible from the first tip. And 100 is not a finish line — it is where we stop calling a record early, not where it becomes proven. The raw settled count is published beside every figure, so the threshold can be applied directly.
Member records carry the same label under 100 settled tips. Separately, nobody is ranked on the leaderboard below 50 settled tips — a table built on ten settled tips ranks luck.
The community engine
The rules member-posted tips run under
Published before anything was at stake — the only time rules are worth writing.
Open, and early · Members register and post, and posted tips settle automatically from the result. A member is ranked once they reach 50 settled tips. Any record under 100 settled tips is labelled an early sample.

Match result (1X2), double chance, draw no bet, over/under goals and both teams to score all settle from the regulation-time score — never from a score including extra time, which would mis-settle every cup tie that went past 90 minutes.
The engine cannot grade these yet, so they cannot be posted. A market it cannot grade is left pending and flagged for review rather than guessed at.
Settlement runs every 15 minutes, and grades a tip only once its match's final score has read the same on checks at least 12 minutes apart — a correction by the results feed inside that window restarts it. Every change the feed reports is kept, with when it was first and last seen. After that a grade is final: a wrong one can only be voided, with the reason shown.
In the half hour before kickoff, tipped matches are read — up to 20 a run, least recently read first — and the best price for each selection is kept; the last read before the match starts is the close. Our odds feed re-prices matches every so often, not continuously, so a tip gets a close and a CLV only if the feed re-priced its match after it was posted. Where it did, the tip shows both and the board averages them, with the count beside; where it did not, the tip shows none and the board shows a dash — never a zero. Closes are read only from the day capture started; earlier tips have none.
The virtual bank
The mechanic the rest of the rules lean on.
- Resets to
- 1,000
- Credited
- +100
- Stake per tip
- 50–500
start of each month
every day, regardless
you choose
- It is not money
- Never deposited, withdrawn or bought
- Stake becomes a signal
- A 500 costs five days of credit
- Volume is priced, not banned
- Post twenty tips; they share one bank
- Monthly reset
- Stops a hot month compounding
- Daily credit
- Stops a bad run locking you out
Those three figures are fixed. Until the bank exists every tip is staked at one unit, set by the server. The remaining staking terms will be published before anybody can post under them.

Written once. A void with a stated reason is the only correction, and it does not erase the entry — a movable price makes every return fiction.
Deleting an account will carry a re-registration lockout, so a bad three months cannot be wiped and a board cannot rank only survivors.
Since 25 Sep 2026. Result, double chance and draw no bet count as one market — between them they cover every outcome, and a guaranteed winner measures box-ticking, not judgement.
Duplicates let one person post both sides and promote the winner. Telegram-first identity; email is cheap to mint, so device checks gate cash prizes. Not built.
Refused at posting once the listed kickoff has passed, and voided at settlement if the match really started earlier than listed — a late entry never counts.
Since 25 Sep 2026 the price is read from the bookmaker feed on our server as you post, not taken from your browser, and a typed price stays out of the ranked record. Earlier tips kept the price the member entered.
Posting to move a standing — shadowing the leader, mirroring a rival, blocking a category. A table climbed by copying measures copying.
Fixture, market, line and side, each from a list — and, since 25 Sep 2026, the price from the feed. Free text cannot settle automatically, and a human reading a tip decides whether a loser counts.
One rule belongs to the competition, not the record
- Final-day tips
- Excluded from tables
They can settle after the standings are effectively decided. They still count towards a member's own record.
Prize and qualification rules are on the competition page, which has no amounts on it yet either.
What this site does not do yet
A verifiability page that overstates itself is worth nothing.
- Per-tip pages and corrections
- Not live
- Third-party audit
- Not in place
- Per-tip price evidence
- Not in place
Tips are listed one by one, but no tip has a page of its own, and a written grade cannot be corrected — only voided with a reason.
No external body checks these numbers.
The price is read from the bookmaker feed as a tip is posted, and the bookmaker is recorded — but the feed's full response at posting is not kept, so nobody outside can re-check the posted price itself. The close each tip is measured against is kept.
