The tips board
Tips
Every tip here is posted by a member: one selection on one fixture, before the event starts, at a price read from the bookmaker feed where it has one and never changed — then settled into that member's public record, win or lose. Underneath sit the house bet of the day and a guide to accumulators.
The board
Post a tipBet of the day
Permanent pageOne house selection a day: the market, the price at posting, and the reason. When nothing on the card is worth a bet, nothing goes up.
Accumulators, explained
Permanent pageWhat folding legs together does to the price and to the expected return. Accumulators cannot be posted here yet — every tip is a single.
What happens to a tip, in order
Most tipping sites publish a selection and stop there. The interesting part is what happens to it afterwards, so here is the whole sequence.
Published before the event starts
A selection posted after kick-off is not a tip, it is a result. Everything goes up while the market is still open, so the call is falsifiable from the moment it is made.
The price is frozen at posting
Since 25 September 2026 the decimal odds recorded are the best price the bookmaker feed showed at the moment of posting, read by our server — not typed by the tipster. Where the feed has no price for a match, a typed price is allowed, labelled on the tip and kept out of the ranked record. Tips from before that date carry the price the member entered, and are labelled too. Every price is written once and never rewritten. A tipster who can edit their price after the fact has no record, only a story.
Settled from the result
Won, lost, void or still pending — there is no draw outcome — settled from match data rather than from anyone's opinion about how it should have gone. Settlement is not a discretionary step.
It stays there
Losing tips are not deleted, edited, hidden behind a members' wall or quietly reclassified. They stay in the ledger and they drag the numbers down, which is the point.
What a published tip contains
A tip that does not tell you the price is not checkable. “Back the home win” is a sentence; “back the home win at 2.10” is a bet. The same selection at 2.10 and at 1.70 are different propositions and only one of them may be worth taking, so the price is part of the tip rather than a footnote to it.
- The selection and the market it sits in.
- The fixture and the scheduled start time.
- The best price the bookmaker feed showed when it was posted, frozen at that value.
- The stake: one unit on every tip until the virtual bank exists — units, never currency.
- A short reason, if the member gave one. Not a preview article, a reason.
- The settled outcome once the event has finished.
Stakes are stated in units for a reason. A tip priced in euros implies we know what your bankroll looks like, and we do not. One unit should be a share of your bankroll small enough that a run of losing tips is an irritation rather than a problem.
Things this site does not claim
No verified identities. Members post under a display name they choose. House names and look-alikes of another member's name are refused, but a name is not proof of who someone is — the settled record under it is the only thing to judge. There are no invented profiles here, and no faces or biographies without a record attached.
Closing-line value, where there is a close. CLV compares the price a tip was posted at with the best price our odds feed showed just before kick-off — the strongest early sign that a record will hold up, and something almost nobody in this category publishes. It is not a to-the-second close: the feed re-prices matches every so often, not continuously, so a tip gets a CLV only when the feed re-priced its match after it was posted. Many tips will have none, and those show no figure rather than a zero.
No promises. Betting tips lose, ours included, and there is no selection process that changes that. Publishing the full settled record is not a claim that the record is good — it is what makes the record checkable either way. Past results do not predict future results, and a short run of them predicts nothing at all.
